Avalon #07

Unit #7 is a ground floor, end unit located in the north building. It has “walk out” beach access with a perfect beach view and a large screened porch with seating and outdoor dining. The master bedroom has a king size bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds (bedroom 3 can be configured as either king size or twin beds). Master bathroom has shower and Jacuzzi and the other bathrooms have bathtubs/showers. TV's located in all bedrooms and living room, with Bluetooth speaker system throughout as well as free high speed wireless internet.

  This is our 8th time to rent at the Avalon & every year we say “this was the best unit ever.” But truly: condo #7 is lucky #7 - it’s PERFECT. We will be selecting this unit from now on. The furnishings, the location, (even the books available to read! I’m a sucker for Freida McFadden) was fabulous.

  We like to vacation in new places every year and have been to many islands in the Carribean. We typically prefer novelty over familiarity and don't come return to the same place but could see ourselves making an exception with the Avalon. We loved everything about our stay, including the unit decor and the lovely pool, but the star of the show was the fabulous beach - the soft white sand and the crystal-clear water. There's nothing like rolling out of bed first thing in the morning, walking 20ft to the water's edge and taking a dip to wake the senses.
  
  We rented a car and found the included garage parking very convenient. We were able to explore a lot of the island and saw the endangered blue iguanas, swam with turtles and stingrays, got close to starfish and interacted with the bioluminescent algae in Bio Bio.
  
  With two young kids, having daily housekeeping was a welcome amenity. (We use a lot of towels!). Also, while beach erosion is a problem at many properties located south of the Avalon - towards George Town - it's not an issue here as the beach is doing very well. In fact, it's one of the main reasons we initially picked this property over others to the south - those other properties, unfortunately, have lost much of their beach.
  
  Overall, everyone had a wonderful time and, as mentioned, we will certainly keep the Avalon in mind when planning our next family vacation.

  We had a great time coming back to Grand Cayman and staying at The Avalon. This was our second time staying at these condos and by far was our favorite unit. Decorated well, maintained and clean with walk out to sand and ocean. We love The Avalon due to it being a quiet location on 7-mile beach with great sand and water.
